Jesus Christ's real name was "Yeshua" and "Immanuel". "they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us". Matthew 1:23, previously "a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel" Isaiah 7:14. Paul (who was no saint) renamed him Jesus Christ. King James followed this in translating Yeshua to "Jesus". Jesus's Message: don't trust human messengers - go direct to the Father Jesus's real message? Don't memorize slogans - know God the Father directly! ... don't ritualize religion - get direct inspiration? The Protestant Reformation was a rebellion against over-ritualization. Pentecostals stress direct inspiration & spiritual insight over dogma, ritual, & overemphasis of the literal interpretation of the Word. Regulation of members is not as important as spiritual development. The Roman Catholic church went too far to force uniformity of belief & structure of religion. When did this wrong direction start?Thomas Jefferson said "Paul was the first corrupter of the doctrines of Jesus." Albert Schweitzer said "Paul avoids quoting the teaching of Jesus" Carl Jung stated ""Paul hardly ever allows the real Jesus of Nazareth to get a word in." in US News and World Report Apr, 22/1991, p.55 According to www.godlikeproductions.com: Paul was not an apostle of Jesus, but falsely claimed to be in Ephesians 1:1. Rev. 2:2 talks about the 7 eastern churches that found liars that claimed to be apostles (like Paul) were not apostles. Paul put the officials of the church over the laity, as did the Nicolaitans. As a result of his rejection as a liar, Paul said "This you know, that all those in Asia have turned away from me." 2Timothy 1:15 "Nicolaitanes" is that the bishops and prelates of the Church have gained a triumphal conquest over the laiton -- the laity. "But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the NICOLAITANS, which I also hate." (Revelation 2:6) Paul's Nicolaitan-like words: "We beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; and to esteem them very highly in love for their work´s sake. And be at peace among yourselves," (I Thessalonians 5:12-13). "Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine," (ITimothy 5:17). 1 Corr 12: 28: And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers. Eph. 4:11 And he gave some, apostles, and some prophets and some evangelists and some pastors and some teachers. "The elders which are among you exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed. Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight [not rulership] thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God´s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock," (I Peter 5:1-3). ) Paul claimed to be an apostle to the Ephesians. "Paul, an apostle of Yeshua by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus," Ephesians 1:1 NKJV "I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars" (Rev 2:2) In Revelation, the 7 Asian churches cast away the liar that claimed to be an apostle (Paul). Paul, the liar, said: "Paul, an apostle of Yeshua by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus," Ephesians 1:1 NKJV Church Structure won't allow Free-Thinking - Mary Magdalene & Gnostics rejected After the discovery of the Nag Hammadi scrolls, the texts themselves show us the other half of the early Christian Church, the Gnostic view, the half that was later vilified, ostracized, declared heretical, and persecuted. Gnostic Christian leaders were killed, their books burned, and crusades were even led to eradicate "good christians", like the Cathars/Albigensians in southern France. The Knights Templar with the Knights Hospitalier joined the Crusade against the Cathars, but after the Knights Templar saw how nobly the Cathars died, praying for their torturers, even while burning at the stake, many of the Knights Templar joined the Cathars in their last stand. What did the Gnostics believe that was so heretical? The core of their teaching was to go within and experience God directly: "Gnosis" was greek for "knowing". They did not agree with the overstructurization of the Roman Catholic church, so they were a direct threat to Papal dominion. The Pope had to get rid of them before their beliefs spread and the Pope's infallibility was questioned further. Spirit-led Church vs. Literal-Word Conformist Dictators When did this separation of the church into a structured "Literalist" branch as opposed to a Gnostic spiritual branch begin? According to the Nag Hammadi Scrolls' "Gospel of Mary", "Gospel of Thomas", "Gospel of Phillip", "the Sophia of Christ", the schism started between Peter and Mary Magdalene. It appears that Mary Magdalene was Jesus's "beloved disciple", and even his wife (Gospel of Phillip says she is the companion, partner or consort of Jesus, and Jesus kissed Mary frequently. (see the essay "Mary Magdalene and the Disciple Jesus Loved" by Esther A. de Boor). Mary Magdalene was the first to see Jesus at his resurrection, and so was the apostle to the apostles. In the book "The Da Vinci Code", Dan Brown writes on pp.247-248: "At this point in the gospels, Jesus suspects He will soon be captured and crucified. So he gives Mary Magdalene instruction on how to carry on His Church after he is gone." There are hints of tender moments between Jesus & Mary Magdalene in the Gospel of Mary, the Gospel of Phillip, & other Nag Hammadi scrolls, as well as in John 20, which hints at 2 beloved disciples. Was Mary Magdalene the most Beloved Disciple of Jesus? - Peter's Jealousy In the Nag Hammadi documents, Peter is portrayed as jealous of Mary, and views Mary as a woman who does not know her place. In the Nag Hammadi "Dialog of the Savior", Mary is described as a leading disciple in conversation with Jesus and the other disciples, utters wisdom sayings attributed elsewhere to Jesus and she is described as "a woman who understood everything". In the Sophia of Christ, she is presented as the most prominent of all the disciples." According to Karen L. King in "Why all the Controversy? Mary in the Gospel of Mary", Mary was an exemplary disciple. Mary does not falter when the Savior departs (p.73) and "Her character proves the truth of her teaching, and by extension, authorizes the teaching of the Gospel of Mary - and it does so by opposing her to those apostles who reject women's authority and preach another gospel, laying down laws beyond that which the Savior taught." (p.74).a Pope labeled Mary Magdalene a Prostitute - to Vilify her Pope Gregory in the 6th Century felt so threatened by Mary that he wrongly interpreted Luke 7:36-50 (on the prostitute) as being Mary Magdalene, vilifying her for centuries.Peter, then Paul tried to structure the Church with only male leadership. The Gnostics felt men and women both could act for Jesus, and women were allowed to baptize and do other things. The Roman Catholic church claimed these rights only for male priests, and therefore the Cathars were annihilated by Crusade. Popes, Bishops, and Emperor Constantine changed Church Doctrine to get more Power In the 1st and 2nd Centuries, Bishop Irenaeus of Lyon, France, Tertullian and Bishop Eusebius of Caesarea in Palestine fought to unify the church by structuring dogma, setting up rigid guidelines, and declaring all who believed differently as heretics. Later Roman Emperor Constantine through the Councils of Nicea and Constantinople, succeeded in hiding and perverting the actual teachings of Yeshua Immanuel (Jesus Christ). As just one example, Yeshua worshipped God daily, and especially on Sabbath. Some, not most, followers of Yeshua worshipped God on Sunday to commemorate Yeshua's Resurrection on Easter Sunday and the Sunday at Pentecost. Roman Emperor Constantine liked this because he previously worshipped the Sun God, so he got the Council of Nicea to vote to force all Christians to worship on Sunday. The Council of Nicea voted the way they did only after punching out 1 dissenter, who would otherwise have tied the vote.Jesus's Message is much fuller than they want you to know One of the earliest writings detailing the teachings and daily activities of Yeshua/Jesus is the Essene Gospel of Peace of Jesus Christ (venerated by the Eastern Orthodox Church, hidden in archives by the Roman Catholic Church). John the Baptist was an Essene. Jesus and John were related. Jesus learned from Essenes (and is wrongly claimed by some to be its "Teacher of Righteousness"). Compare the Dead Sea Scrolls to Essene Gospel of Peace of Jesus Christ and you will see their emphasis on multiple daily meditations and raw food are also in Yeshua's teachings. The Essenes were much stricter by the book than Yeshua, because he went more by the spirit instead of the word. (e.g. saving someone on Sabbath). Jesus's Grandfather Jacob and Brother "James the Just" were both Teachers of Righteaousness for the Essenes, because they were of the direct lineage of David. Whatever their origins, the Essenes of Qumran scorned the illegal priests of Jerusalem. Josephus says they rejected the Temple as unclean and "offered their sacrifices by themselves". The Communities of the Essenes were the True Israel and the priesthood they maintained at Qumran the true Zadokite priesthood. (per www.askwhy.co.uk/christianity/0210Nationalists.html(See also Dead Sea Scrolls and Qumran.com). The 4 Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John were all written much later, closer to 200 A.D. Compare their source material "Q" at Q = Origin of later Gospels The Gnostic Writings at Nag Hamadi! show a deeper implementation of Yeshua's teachings. Gnosticism teaches us to go within and get direct answers from God. In many ways, this is similar to the original (non-religion) of Gautama Buddha, who taught everyone to stop listening to priests and go within to find the truth. These teachings are still preserved in Thailand and Laos by "Theraveda Buddhists" (theraveda = true way). The rest of the Buddhist world spreads the perverted "Mahayana Buddhism", which claims Buddha to be a God. Yeshua wasn't lucky enough to keep followers on the true way after his death: the Roman Catholics declared anyone that didn't believe as they dictated to be heretics, and sometimes led crusades to annihilate them. The Cathars of Southern France, who called themselves "bons chretiens" (good christians) were annihilated in a crusade directed by the Catholic Pope. They were Gnostics that led such exemplary lives that many of the Templars sent to annihilate them joined them at the last moment, preferring to die with these noble followers than continue to help kill them. Most later religious history labels the Cathars as Manichean Heretics. The Church hid Jesus' Words: Check the Gospel of Thomas (from the Gnostic writings): 1 & 2,3+Watch the Movie "STIGMATA"! (In "Stigmata", Gospel of Thomas: This scroll was allegedly written by Jesus just after the last supper. The movie is about 3 men who were translating the text for the Catholic Church. When the Church started to see what it was, it kicked out two of the men and the other one took the text and spent his life translating it. After the movie ended, there was a scrolling text before the credits, saying that in 1945, a text had been found near the dead sea that was thought to be the writings of Jesus, and that the Catholic Church tried to hide it, and now denounces it as heresy. This Gospel scroll states that God is not in any physical place, but is IN YOU. The Church did not want people to become less dependant on Church buildings.)See also Bible & Vegan cf.: Jesus as Healer Gnostic Apocryphon of John Paul was the one that renamed Yeshua Immanuel as Jesus Christ.Paul/Saul was a Roman Citizen that claimed to be a Pharisee, son of a Pharisee. Saul was born in Tarsus, Cicilia (neas Syria and Phoenicia, Saul became a Roman Soldier in Jerusalem to control the native Jews. Many claim that Saul's/Paul's efforts were among those that got Yeshua crucified. Some claim that Saul/Paul got James the Just, Jesus' brother and the leader of the Jerusalem Church, stoned to death. Paul/Saul persecuted Christians until he suddenly claimed he received a vision.
Paul/Saul wrote almost 2/3 of the New Testament. Judas Iscariot betrayed Yeshua Immanuel with a kiss for 30 pieces of silver. Some say that Judas was caretaker of the writings of the teachings of Yeshua, and sold them for 70 pieces of silver to the cohorts of Saul. Some also say that Saul was hired by Rome to keep track of and thwart Yeshua and his followers, and that he did this by taking over Christianity and redirecting it. Paul wrongfully called himself an Apostle to get a title to take over Christianity. Yeshua Immanuel said in Matt 5:17: "Think not that I have come to abolish the Law and the prophets; I have come not to abolish them but to fulfill them...". and in Luke 16:17 "easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail". Paul said Christians no longer had to obey God's laws. Romans 10:4 "Christ is the end of law for righteousness", Romans 6:14 "ye are not under the law, but under grace", Galations 5:18 "If ye be led by the Spirit, ye are not under the law", 1 Timothy 1:9 "law is not made for a righteous man", The book, "Paul: The Mind of the Apostle" by A.N. Wilson outlines how Paul deified Jesus and changed the status the church gave him. Robert Eisenman also speaks of Paul's perversion of Jesus' teachings in his books, such as "James the Brother of Jesus: The Key to Unlocking the Secrets of Early Christianity and the Dead Sea Scrolls" (Review by Robert Price and "The Dead Sea Scrolls and the First Christians: Essays and Translations". Review of Paul as Herodian. Robert Price worte a book "Deconstructing Jesus", which discusses what Jesus really was versus what they constructed him to be. Review.
